Third Party Audits and Certification Information

MANUFACTURING

The Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) maintains a list of goods and their source countries which it has reason to believe are produced by child labor or forced labor in violation of international standards, as required under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) of 2005 and subsequent reauthorizations. Review this list before your continue the application process to ensure your company is informed: http://www.dol.gov/agencies/ilab/reports/child-labor/list-of-goods/.  

To ensure compliance with ILAB list, provide a master list of your company's manufacturers (including blanks) that will be involved in the production of Navy branded products. Corresponding third party audit's or factory certification's is required for new and existing licensees. Information shall include the following for each manufacturer:

• Manufacturer’s Company Name
• Address
• POC contact for the Manufacturer
• Phone and email of POC
• What product is or will be manufactured
• Factory audit/certifications

The Navy has the right to refuse factories that are not in accordance with policy. Any audits that include negative or low results will be disqualified.
